UPVC Renovation & Detailing
For over 20 years we have been window cleaning all sorts of property types, from small domestic dwellings and light commercial units; to large private estates and office blocks.
You can be confident in our abilities to the job correctly and unlike most of our competitors, we do not shy away from insides cleans either, encompassing a fully rounded service plan.
The requirements of wooden framed windows are often a little more complex and require just a little more time and planning.
Often we face window designs with no weather beading so we have to be careful how much water flow we use to avoid flooding the house.
To mitigate this a dry-de-cobwebing and clearing of the debris is often needed beforehand with either a hand clean using wet microfibre and dry scrim, or a subsidiary clean using the water-fed system on a very low flow-rate with a biological detergent to aid in the decontamination process.
Once the windows are at an acceptable cleanliness, we can then proceed with gentle water-fed cleaning as part of the regular maintenance plan.
Wooden Framed Windows
UPVC Windows & Doors
The majority of our work will involve the cleaning of UPVC windows & doors.
First cleans will generally require a thorough pre-wash; at a fairly high flow-rate with a bio-injection prewash to aid in the breakdown of organic matter & debris.
We can then proceed with regular water-fed washing at your preferred scheduled frequency.
Deep Cleaning & Renovation
Sometimes it doesn’t matter how many times you clean the windows, they just look tired down to age from UV degradation.
This is especially the case with window frames that are south-facing and are dark in colour.
We can bring back the look of these surfaces using specific UV resistant nourishing creams which replenish the oxidised surface.
Limescale Removal
Limescale is a common issue around overflow pipes where there has been fault with the water tank.
Over time, it splashes back and extensive levels of hard-mineral deposits can end up on the glass.
We are able to remove these deposits with industry-specific descaling chemicals that are designed to be used on external glass.
